Pineapple is one of the four famous tropical fruits and a distinctive regional public brand of agricultural products in Hainan Province. On November 29th, 2023, the second Hainan Province Pineapple Industry Development Conference was successfully held. The conference aims to promote rural revitalization, improve the product quality and production sales efficiency of Hainan pineapple, and implement the work deployment of promoting agriculture through quality, green development, and brand strengthening. Li Peng, Chief Agronomist of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Hainan Province, Lin Ruiwen, Standing Committee Member and Deputy County Mayor of Chengmai County, Lu Fangxiao, President of China Fruit Circulation Association, Min Jianfeng, General Manager of Hainan SF Express, and leaders and media friends from the fresh food industry chain attended the meeting to jointly discuss and promote the high-quality development of the fruit industry.

At the meeting, Li Peng, the chief agronomist of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Hainan Province, stated that currently, the planting area of pineapple in Hainan Province has exceeded 230000 acres, with a total output of over 200000 tons. We hope that all parties can work together to promote the production and sales of the pineapple industry chain, promote the development of the entire pineapple industry chain in Hainan, and do a good job in the chapter of "small pineapples, large industries, and revitalization of rural areas" to enrich the people.
